Jessica was born and raised in Maine. After earning her Certified Public Accountant license, she left her public accounting job to attend culinary school at the Culinary Institute of America in Napa. Jessica’s culinary experience includes working in both front and back-of-house roles beginning at the age of 14. She later transitioned to working as a private chef for a family for a year. Upon returning to Maine in 2021, Jessica launched her own private chef business, The UpBeetGinger LLC. In this role, she prepares multi-course meals in clients' homes and customizes the menu to suit each host's preferences.

When she’s not in the kitchen, Jessica enjoys spending time with her bulldog, Stu, at the beach. She loves exploring the amazing culinary scene in Maine.
